Data Sovereignty for Developers
This course introduces data sovereignty from a technical architecture perspective. It focuses on how data location, cloud configurations, access control mechanisms, and cross-border flows influence compliance, portability, and long-term system resilience.
During the training, you will learn:
- How to map data storage, processing, replication, and backups
- How provider access models and jurisdiction affect legal exposure
- Architectural trade-offs between hyperscalers, EU providers, and multi-cloud strategies
- How APIs, AI services, and telemetry create hidden cross-border transfers
- Design patterns that improve portability and reduce lock-in
The session includes time for discussion at the end.
This training is intended for developers, senior developers, software architects, DevOps engineers, and technical project leaders. The duration is one hour and it can be delivered in person or remotely.
